NYCTV On Demand

NYCTV is the public television station for the city of New York. They decided to use the BrightCove system to bring their shows onto the web, and chose mimoYmima to do the customization. We implemented their design and figured out creative ways to use BrightCove's actionscript API to make it work.

We added special features such as search functionality, a custom advertising area which they could feed content to through the BrightCove Console.

Some of the BrightCove functionality that works great with their stock templates, breaks when you try to customize it or change it's size. We came up with solutions to allow for full screen viewing on our player as well as fixing their 'get link' functionality.
