East River Institute

The East River Institute is an organization dedicated to protecting and cleaning the East River and its shores, which have been heavily polluted over the years. They consult with corporations and developers to show them how they can clean up their act.

ERI is also an advocacy group for the general public to expose new toxic sites along the riverside. We created an interactive map to show where those sites are in the different communities in the New York area.
