How much will my website cost?

This page describes the process for getting a website proposal together and also gives a guideline to follow when you approach web design firms (like ours) requesting a proposal.

Initial Meeting / Phone Call

Before a quote can be given we’ll need to learn about your business and about the website you want to make.

Three things you should have ready

  1. A list of the pages you think you’d like on the site.
  2. A list of any functionality you’d like to have such as email forms, blogs, photo galleries, video players, RSS feeds, etc…
  3. URLs for a few sites you like the design of or other visual inspiration like magazine layouts, type you like on a poster, photography…

Proposal

After our initial meeting we spend some time creating a detailed proposal. The process of creating this proposal helps us understand better what it is we’ll be making. We decide what technologies we will use to make your site, research solutions for new types of functionality we haven’t used before, and also come up with the prices and schedule. It usually takes about a week to put together the proposal. Once it’s done we’ll email it to you as a PDF file.

In the proposal, we break down the costs section so you can see where all the money is going. This helps you decide what is really necessary if you are on a tight budget.

Your Budget

We have worked with clients of all sizes, from large corporations to local small businesses and individuals, so we can work with any budget, your budget will let us know the amount of content and functionality you will be able to use on the site.
